Visitors from Caledonia

Hugh Nicholson

Hugh visited the Fischer lab in July 2015 where he was able to perfect some molecular biology techniques with Jenny, and learn about growing Arabidopsis and the types of analyses performed in the lab.  He was very productive in a short time and helped Jenny make some useful clones for her project on histone chaperones in the Arabidopsis seed.

Hugh's visit from the University of Dundee, where he is studying for his BSc (Hons) in Biological Science. He won a Royal Society of Biology grant to enable him to travel to California at the foggiest time of the year!
